Now creating a trophy fer the winner of our knot tying competition. We'll be doing panels on knots then hold a speed challenge. Tie the 4 basic knots we'll be teachin' in the shortest time. Square knot, bowline, clove hitch...and the dreaded sheepshank. Attachments:

Meeting tomorrow at Reid Park to discuss this event. Seems the original plan was neutered as to what the Fleets involvement would be. 11:00am at the ramada near the dog park. I smells mutiny.

First day is in the bag. Entire tent was empty for our knot tying class. Kids loved the fencing platforms, older folks quite fun to watch after a few beers LOL. Attachments:

33rd Festival is over. Made a lot of contacts and several prospects for new members. Would consider the raid to be a success. The knot tying and celestial navigation classes...not quite the drawing power we had hoped for...didn't receive any complaints though (roll eyes).
